The NJISRA ski league selects the top 35 boys and top 30 girls to compete in the end of year Race of Champions. Fortunately, the Blair ski team had five racers that qualified - Olivia Gore '26, Ansel Hamlin '26, Liam Green '26, Fitz Kling '27 and Ricky Duan '27. Fitz Kling had the highlight of the day earning a third place overall finish in the slalom event. Our overall top combined placer was Liam Green in 22nd.
Additionally, the boys junior varsity ski team had a championship race in which the team placed 3rd overall in the league - earning our only team trophy of the year. The racers included: Roy Moon '29, Ben Chiang '28, Parker Rueben '26, Henry Sprague '28, Martin Duan '29 and Matthew Jacob '28. Even though Roy fell on his first run, the rest of the team was able to put down times that were good enough to make the podium. Congratulations to all the JV boys for a terrific final race of the year.
