It was a great showing for Blair's track and field team this past Wednesday at The Lawrenceville School, with lots of strong performances and PRs from most of the squad at the annual Ed Poreda Invitational. The Bucs competed against Lawrenceville, Princeton HS, Allentown, and Stuart Day.
Strong performances were made by Michael Lynch '26 who won the pole vault. Additionally, Jaiveer Chauhan '26 earned a big personal record (PR) in the long jump, taking 1st in that event. Brayden Yau '27 and Tony Ni '25 also had big PRs in the 3200 race.
On the girls' side, Courtney Payne took 1st in the high jump. Lola Bambe '27 earned a PR in the 100 meter dash and the long jump.
Blair's next meet will be on Friday, May 2, as they travel to Peddie for the NJISAA Prep A Track Championships.
