The varsity swim team hosted Pope John this past Wednesday for a regular season meet at Wallace Pool. The boys' fell short with a final score of 50-67. Blair's girls' squad won 91-70 against the Lions.
Most notably, Riley Bacinski '25 and Hannah Wilson '26 each broke pool records. Riley raced very well in the 50 freestyle event by posting a final time of 25.24, breaking the previous 25.30 record that was held since 2013. Hannah later broker her own record from 2023 in the 200 individual medley, posting a final time of 2:11.4 and beating her previous time by a full second.
Other notable performances include Wilder Merton '26 on the boys' side, winning the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.83. Olivia Jastrzab '25 and Madalyn Chowmow '28 also won their respective events.
Blair's next meet will be on Friday, January 10, as they host Hun at 4:30 p.m.
