The varsity field hockey team logged another winning week with victories over Stuart Country Day and Mercersburg Academy. On Wednesday, October 10th, the Bucs earned a 3-0 win over Stuart in a solid team performance. Goals were notched by Kate Anontelli '20, Jessica Pasquali '21, and captain Abby Kreider '19, with assists from Kreider (2) and Pasquali. Goalkeeper Olivia Kreider '21 had six saves on the day supported by a fantastic defensive effort. On Saturday, October 13th, the Bucs defeated Mercersburg 7-0 in a strong offensive showing. Abby Kreider had 3 goals and 2 assists on the day, Savannah Lee '20 had 2 goals, Pasquali had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Sofia Kasparik '21 also scored 1. Kate Antonelli served up an assist as well, while freshman goalie Aitalia Sharpe '22 recorded three saves late in the game. With these two wins, the Bucs move to 11-1 on the season and are looking forward to match-ups with Belvidere High School and The Hill School this week.
