The varsity football team kicked off their season this past Saturday as they traveled to Rhode Island to play St. George's School. After making the long trip away from the hilltop, Blair came out with a dominating win with a final score of 34-6.
Leading the offense was Kaleb Nelson '25, who had a dominating performance earning 351 all-purpose yards. He also had two receiving touchdowns, and another touchdown off of a punt return. Merritt Fischer '25 was also impressive as the starting quarterback for the Bucs, earning 307 passing yards, 20 rushing yards, and four touchdowns with an 80% completion rate. In the backfield, Andrew Pearce '26 added 130 rushing yards for Blair.
Blair's next game is on Friday, September 20, as they travel to Pennington for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
