The varsity girls' soccer team played their first game since 2019 this past Wednesday. In a hard fought game, Blair came out with a 2-0 victory over the Lenape Valley Patriots. Scoring the first goal was senior Caroline Driscoll '22, who received a rebound from the penalty spot and was able to put it in the bottom left corner of the net. Defensively, freshman Sam Kowalick '25 led the Bucs, playing a phenomenal game as goalkeeper. She made key saves throughout the game and made a monster double-save to keep the score 1-0 at the end of the half.

The second goal for Blair started with Maggie Antosek '25 won a ball, dribbled a player and passed to Marisa Snee '22, who took a long range, low shot from far outside the box that went off the post and into the net.

Other notable performances include Melissa Groseibl '22 and Megan Donaghy '22, who each had a strong presence in the back field.

The next game for the Bucs will be on Saturday, September 11th, as Blair hosts Kittatinny for the annual Soccerfest game at 6:30 p.m under the lights.
