Varsity Girls' Tennis defeats Hun in MAPL match

The Blair varsity girls' tennis defeated The Hun School in a thrilling match, concluding in a Bucs win 4-3. Leading the team were Sydney Landau '20 and Rachel Ninomiya '19, not letting up a point in their doubles match. Hun was able to win the second doubles match. But Fayre Smith '19 and Nina Sigety '19 were able to come back from a 4-7 deficit and win the match in a tiebreaker. Other matches that were won for Blair were attributed to Sydney Landau '20, Rachel Ninomiya '19, and Zoe Reinert '20. This victory helps the Bucs remain undefeated on the season.
Their next challenge will be against Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, October 13th, at 1:00 p.m at Blair Academy.
