Varsity Girls' Tennis wins 3-2 against Sparta

Blair's varsity girls' tennis team defeated Sparta High School in a hard fought battle with a final score of 3-2. Ellie Hyder' 22 secured a win against the Spartans with a score of 6-1, 6-2. Other Bucs who won were Maddie Krzanowski '23 and Rosy Sun '23 in second doubles. Maddie and Rosy played well the entire match, winning 6-4, 6-0. With Blair losing third singles and first doubles, it was up to Liz Sterlin '23. She ended up winning in three sets with scores 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.

The next match for Blair will be this Friday, September 17th, as they host Mercersburg Academy at 4:15 p.m.
