Varsity Volleyball defeats Stuart Day in two sets

The varsity volleyball team received their first win of the season this past Monday, as Blair defeated Stuart Day in two hard-fought sets by a score of 25-21, 25-21. Throughout the match, it was a battle at the net. Sasha Gershman '25 led the defensive attack from the front row, earning multiple blocks at the net. Blair's serving was led by Charlotte Devereux '24 and Ruby DeFrank '24. who each had many aces throughout the match. Courtney Payne '25 commanded the back row leading the team in digs, as Noor Yunis '25 lead the team in hits.

Overall, it was a great team effort that led to the victory for the Bucs. The next game will be on Wednesday, September 14, as Blair travels to Pope John for a 4:30 p.m. start.
