This past Wednesday, the boys’ varsity lacrosse team hosted Peddie, looking for their first home win of the season. Starting with a 10-6 lead by the half, the Buccaneers were able to keep that momentum to finish the game with an 18-14 win over Peddie.
With tallying 20 points, seven different players tallied a goal. Leading Blair was Yaneik Gallego ‘24, who recorded five goals and three assists. Kaleb Nelson ‘25 followed five goals. Edward Merton ‘26 had two goals on the night. Kellen Nelson ‘27, Zhengyi Sun ‘25, and Luke Dale ‘24 recorded goals against Peddie.
At the face-off, Michael Antonelli ‘26 dominated going 30 for 35 on the day. Surpassing over 200 career face-off wins. Ayden Zosche ‘24 had an impressive 50% save percentage. Advancing the Bucs to 2-2 on the season.
