Attendance FAQs
Attendance at all of one’s obligations is a basic and essential expectation. The most successful students at Blair have few, if any, absences. Typically, permission is only granted for students to miss class if they have an unavoidable conflict. It is our expectation that parents and families schedule trips, appointments and other commitments outside of Blair obligations, particularly class time. If this is unavoidable, then students may seek permission for their absence to be excused through the Health Center or Student Life Office. For permission to be granted, the Student Life Office must hear from parents. To read the complete Attendance Policy in the Student Handbook, please click here.
To report your child’s attendance, please email attendance@blair.edu or call the Student Life Office (908-362-6121, then press 0).
