Service at Blair
There is no other school like Blair Academy—the community truly feels like one big family. Classmates and teachers are welcoming, and the environment provides a wide range of opportunities and encourages students to succeed academically, in athletics and in leadership pursuits. Even as a freshman, I played a varsity sport, ran for student council and experimented in the Center for Innovation and Collaboration's maker space.

At Blair, service is woven into curricular and cocurricular experiences for each student. Through a variety of opportunities throughout the year, Blair students engage in service projects addressing educational disparities, environmental challenges and disaster recovery. In recent years, volunteers have tutored at local elementary schools, raised money for regional shelters for abused women, and worked to solve real-world problems with large organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.
Get Involved This Year

Blair Service Corps
The Blair Service Corps is the umbrella service organization at Blair; we support student service clubs and sponsor our own projects throughout the year. Service Corps members work in a variety of different areas, including:
Do you have an idea for a service project? Let us know, and we will do our best to assist making that project a reality.
Day of Service
In May, the entire school pauses for a day while all students and faculty members participate in a Day of Service, doing volunteer work throughout our local community. If you would like to be involved in planning the Day of Service, let us know.
This should be a great year! We look forward to working with you to help others.
