A Virtual Tour of Bogle Science Center

The opening of the Chiang-Elghanayan Center for Innovation and Collaboration allowed for the realignment of spaces in Bogle Hall to better facilitate the teaching of science.

Building Project Benefits

  • Moving engineering and mathematics out of Bogle Hall allowed for the reorganization and upgrade of its laboratories and classrooms, resulting in greater flexibility in core science class scheduling and offerings.
  • The Bogle Science Center, completed in 2019, boasts a three-story addition with new classrooms, labs for AP physics, AP biology and advanced chemistry, and dedicated research space for long-term projects. In addition, each of the Bogle Science Center's existing labs and classrooms received extensive renovations and a prep space for chemistry labs and a departmental office were created. Cowan Auditorium has been upgraded with new lighting and mechanical systems.
  • The finished building offers students and faculty more and better-equipped labs and classrooms designed to provide optimal space for hands-on, inquiry-based scientific learning.
